Expressway Weekend Road Work Planned in St. Clair Shores

Planning to take I-94, or I-696, through St. Clair Shores this weekend? The Michigan Department of Transportation announced the upcoming roadwork this weekend:

• Westbound I-94 will have a right-lane closure from Masonic Blvd. to I-696 until 5 a.m. Sunday. From 5 a.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday, the right and center lanes will be closed. In addition, the ramp from westbound 11 Mile Road to westbound I-94 will be closed. The closures are needed for paving.
• Eastbound I-94 will have a single-lane closure from I-696 to Masonic Blvd. from 5 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday for drainage work. In addition, the eastbound I-696 ramp to eastbound I-94 will have a single-lane closure, and the eastbound I-94 ramp to Little Mack will be closed.
• The right and center lanes of westbound I-94 will be closed from Masonic Blvd to I-696 from 5 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday for paving. From 5 a.m. Monday until 8 p.m. Tuesday, the right lane will remain closed to complete paving.
  

• The westbound I-94 exit ramp to Little Mack will be closed from 5 a.m. Saturday until 8 p.m. Tuesday for paving.
