Community Corner
Letter to the Editor: The Community and the Lake Shore Football are the Taste Fest Winners
The Lake Shore Quarterback Club thanks the community for supporting the Shorian Taste Fest at Barrister Gardens.

The winners of the Taste Fest are the football team and the community.
The football team will be able to purchase equipment that will keep the players safe and well equipped; equipment like football helmets, and pads, as well as equipment to help enhance their skills.
Without the support of the community, coaching staff, Jazz band, school administration, local businesses and restaurants, events like the Taste Fest would not be possible. All of the restaurants had delicious foods and beverages and were extremely courteous to all guests. I even heard of a couple restaurants that sent guest with boxes of food to take home and share with their family.

Every year restaurants go above and beyond with their support of the Taste Fest. We can only hope that the community will embrace this and patronize their establishments.
