Man Dies After Getting Hit By Car In Macomb County: Sheriff

MOUNT CLEMENS, MI — A man died after getting hit by a car in Macomb County last Friday, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

Police said the man was walking across a street in the area of southbound Gratiot Avenue and New Street in Mount Clemens at 4 a.m. last Friday.

An off-duty Clinton Township Police officer administering aid to the man, but he died at the scene, according to police.

Police have not identified a suspect, or a vehicle.

No further information was released by police.
