Police Investigate a Vacant Home Break-In and Stolen Skateboards

The following information is gathered from the St. Clair Shores Police Department. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

Three people arrested for breaking into vacant homeΒ 

Officers were called in the early morning hours of Aug. 20 for a possible home invasion in the 21000 block of Martin. Witnesses saw a male and female in the driveway of a vacant homeΒ along with a black car. When officers arrived, they heard the voice of a man and women in the garage. As they continued to investigate, a female tried to exit the house but went back inside. Officers arrested the individuals as they tried to exit through a sun porch. AΒ 15-year-old and a 20-year-oldΒ St. Clair Shores woman was arrestedΒ for breaking and entering. A 33-year-old St. Clair Shores man was also arrested for breaking and entering. When officers searched the vehicle in the driveway, they found light fixtures and a white box fan that was reportedly taken from home.

Police were called Aug. 19 after aΒ homeowner in the 29000 block of Jefferson found that contents of the home were rummaged through and jewelry and a computer were stolen.Β

Police were called Aug. 18 after the owner of the Board to Death Skate Shop called to report that the front window of the business was shattered and four long boards were stolen.
