Runners to Show Support for Those Affected by the Boston Marathon Explosions
Lynda Charow shared with Patch that runners are wearing race shirts today to support those affected by the explosions at the Boston Marathon.
The organizer of the Shores-Pointes Adventure Triathlon shared with Patch that runners are wearing race T-shirts today to support those affected by the explosions in Boston.
"Many of us runners are wearing a race T-shirt tomorrow to show our support for those that lost their lives, the injured and for Boston in general," Lynda Charow wrote in an email. "If you have one from Boston, awesome. But, any one will do ... Support Boston, America and those awesome marathon runners."

As federal and local officials investigate the explosion, Charow said she will continue to monitor the investigation and work with local officials to plan for the upcoming triathlon on Saturday, July 20.
She added that registration is strong for the upcoming event, and local businesses and organizations have sponsored relay teams from each high school in the Grosse Pointes and St. Clair Shores to participate in upcoming race.
