Shields Helps Lakeview Hoops Win Again

Another big game by Robert Shields propelled the boys basketball team to another victory.

Shields recorded 19 points, 10 rebounds and five steals to pace the Huskies to a 55-41 triumph over Marysville on Tuesday.

Alex Galant added eight points and 10 rebounds, and Geno Greer and Alex Radu led a Lakeview defense that forced 25 turnovers.

Lakeview coach John Carr also praised the play of Marquis Jones.

Matt Russell scored 18 points for Marysville (6-3 overall, 3-1 MAC Silver Division).

Lakeview improved to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the MAC Silver.
