St. Clair Shores Citywide Garage Sale This Weekend: What To Know

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — More than 1,000 homes are expected to participate in a city wide garage sale this weekend in St. Clair Shores.

Although listed as a weekend event, sales start Friday morning and run through Sunday. Sales generally begin at 10 a.m. and last through 4 p.m. each day.

The event is organized by the Cool City Committee and will go on rain or shine. Last year, more than 820 homes participated in the event.

The group encouraged buyers to download the Google Maps app to see registered sellers in a particular zip code.

Sellers do not need a permit to host a garage sale over the weekend if they live in St. Clair Shores. Sellers can also still register.

The group will also host a donation drive Sunday for any leftover items from the garage sales. That drive will be held in the parking lot of the SCS Civic Center at 20000 Stephens Road on Sunday from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

More information about the donation drive will be shared at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
