St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Grand Marshal Named
Resident Randy Pullin has been named the grand marshal of the 61st St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade.

The St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade Committee has selected Randy Pullin, a veteran and active city volunteer, to be the parade's grand marshal.
Pullin served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1964-70, and served in Vietnam from 1967-68 where he was the battle of Khe Sahn. He was honorably discharged and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Bruce Post #1146where he serves on the Executive Board of Directors. Pullin is also a a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 119 of St. Clair Shores.
He is active in veterans organizations outside of the city. He is on the board of directors of the Southeast Michigan Veterans Stand Down organization assisting homeless veterans and serves on several boards helping veterans at the John D. Dingell V.A. Hospital in Detroit.

Pullin has also been involved in civic organizations in the Shores as past president of the Shorewood Kiwanis, volunteered on a number boards, is a member of the St. Clair Shores Goodfellows and secretary of the St. Clair Shores Zoning Board of Appeals.Â
He is also a car enthusiast and can be found at car shows and cruises in the city with his classic 1964 Dodge Polara 500 convertible.

This year's parade will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 26, on Jefferson between 9 and 11 Mile roads.
