State Rep Hosts “Coffee With Kevin” March 3 at Eos Cafe

If you'd like the chance to bend a state rep's ear, visit Eos March 3 for coffee with St. Clair Shores' Representative Kevin Hertel.

March 3 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m., St. Clair Shores’ state Congressman Kevin Hertel will host “Coffee with Kevin” at Eos Cafe and Coffee House. The event is free and open to the public, and one of a series of coffee meetups hosted by the St. Clair Shores Democrat.

Hertel represents Michigan’s 18th House District, which includes Eastpointe, St. Clair Shores and part of Grosse Pointe Shores. He assumed the seat in 2017, but is part of a longstanding tradition of public service - his father is former House Speaker Curtis Hertel, and his brother is State Senator Curtis Hertel Jr.

“I am looking forward to being in district and getting to talk with you,” Hertel said in a post on the event’s Facebook page. “Coffee hours are an opportunity where I can update you on what's happening in the legislature and you can share with me thoughts, questions, and concerns. I look forward to great conversation,” he added.
