Thrillist Names St. Clair Shores Bar Best Whiskey Bar In Michigan

Thrillist says Michigan’s best whiskey drinking is in St. Clair Shores. The national food and nightlife site published its list of the top whiskey destinations in each state, naming the Butter Run Saloon as the mitten state’s top whisky spot. Reasons Thrillist loves Butter Run: they have 890 bottles of whiskey, including Angel's Envy distilled in 2013-2015, and tasting notes for each offering, so you can read up your shot before quaffing.

Butter Run is a unique place worth the visit even if you’re not into whiskey. It’s definitely the only place in St Clair Shores where you can have meatloaf with brown gravy for dinner after an escargot appetizer. Snails and whiskey might be the better combination.
