1 Seriously Injured In I-94 Crash At Little Mack: Police

Police said one adult was seriously hurt in the rollover crash.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A 28-year-old driver was listed in critical condition after being ejected from a rollover crash on I-94 at Little Mack Monday morning, police said.

The driver was in the left lane on eastbound I-94 when the vehicle's tire came off. The driver tried to regain control of the vehicle, but hit the median and rolled over, police said.

A seven-year-old passenger was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the crash. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.

Both were transported to McLaren Macomb, where the driver was listed in critical condition and the child was released to family, police said.

Michigan State Police closed I-94 at Little Mack Monday morning to investigate the crash.

Police reopened the freeway at 12:20 p.m. while the investigation continues.
