Weekend Construction Projects on I-94

Driving this weekend on I-94 through St. Clair Shores, or downtown to the Tigers game? Motorists might want to avoid the expressway in St. Clair Shores and Detroit due to construction.

I-94 projects:

• Eastbound I-94 will have one lane open from 11 Mile Road to Masonic Bvld. in St. Clair Shores from 8 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday for ongoing paving.
• Westbound I-94 in Detroit will be closed at M-53 (Van Dyke Avenue) for bridge beam setting. The full closure will begin at 4 a.m. and end by 9 p.m. on Saturday. The posted detour uses the westbound I-94 exit and entrance ramps at Van Dyke Avenue. 
  

Starting Monday, eastbound I-94 will have one lane open from 11 Mile Road to Masonic from 8 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday for ongoing resurfacing.
