Wigs 4 Kids Gala, Former Lion to Speak, Women's Expo and Made in Michigan Market

Here are some items to add to your calendar this week:

• St. Clair Shores City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. Among the items to be considered including the recognition of the winners of Beautification Awards.
• Wigs 4 Kids will hold their 10th annual Gala Friday at Barrister Gardens. The fundraiser for St. Clair Shores-based charity includes an evening with food, fun, entertainment, dancing and raffle prizes. 
• The St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center will be holding a Made in Michigan Market Friday and Saturday with vendors featuring items from across the state, live music and local food. There will also be a charity hockey game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday between Team GTJ and a team comprised of St. Clair Shores police officers and fire fighters. There is a $10 admission charge for the game. 
• Former Detroit Lion Jason Hanson will be guest speaker at the Bethel Baptist Church annual Men & Boys Cookout Saturday.
• The Women's Civic League of St. Clair Shores will hold its inaugural In My Shoes Women's Expo, with guest speaker Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, Sunday at Barrister Gardens.
