Women Found Dead In Macomb Co. Home Took Own Lives: Police
Police believe no one else was involved in the incident and that there is no danger to the community.β
WARREN, MI β Police believe two women who were found dead Wednesday inside a Macomb County home took their own lives.
Officers found a 73-year-old Warren woman and a 75-year-old Fraser woman shot to death inside the home located in the 24000 block of Joanne Smith Drive in Warren at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Police said investigators found a handgun that was legally purchased a day before the bodies were discovered by the 73-year-oldβs daughter. They also found two handwritten notes at the scene, leading them to believe the incident was a "mutually agreed-upon suicide pact."

Investigators also found other evidence consistent with a pre-planned suicide at the Fraser woman's home, according to police.
Investigators said the two women knew each other, but the extent of their relationship was unknown.

Police said one of the women owned the home where the incident happened.
Police believe no one else was involved in the incident and that there is no danger to the community. They also noted there were no signs of forced entry, break-in, or robbery.
