D-Backs Option Trenton Native J.J. Putz for $6.5M
The Arizona Diamondbacks exercised the 2013 option for former Trenton High School baseball star J.J. Putz, according to MLB.com.
Trenton High School graduate J.J. Putz will remain an Arizona Diamondback after the team's general manager exersized the 2013 option to retain him as a closing pitcher, according to MLB.com.
The Diamondbacks have exercised their $6.5 million option on Putz for the 2013 season, according to the SportingNews.com.
