Man Arrested for 'Touching' Himself at Bus Stop in Trenton

Trenton police responded to a call about a man with his pants down at a bus stop touching himself at about 1 p.m. April 29 at West Jefferson Avenue and Truax Street.

The caller said the man appeared to be masturbating. She said the man had his pants pulled down to his knees and was "touching his penis with his hands under his boxer shorts," according to a Trenton police report.

When officers arrived at the bus stop they asked the 31-year-old man about the report. The man said he had to pull his pants up because his belt was too loose, according to the report.

The man said he had just finished working and was waiting for the bus.

The 23-year-old caller told police she would be willing to make a written statement regarding the incident.

Police arrested the man for disorderly conduct and indecent exposure and transported him to the Trenton Police Department.

Police said the man had a criminal bench warrant out for his arrest in Dearborn for failure to appear in court.
