Power Outage Knocks Out Traffic Signal in Trenton

A power outage knocked out power to many residences and a traffic signal in Trenton Wednesday morning.

Power was restored to all but 300 customers, according to a representative of DTE Energy.

Power to a traffic signal at West Jefferson Avenue and King Road was also restored.

Trenton Police Chief Jim Nardone said stop signs placed at the traffic signal during the outage would be removed.

The cause of the power outage is still unknown.
