Snow Could Continue Next Week in Trenton, Grosse Ile

Say it isn't snow!

An icy iteration of the wintry precipitation rapped at windows Friday in Trenton and Grosse Ile the National Weather Service predicts more of the white stuff could fall Monday and Tuesday.

The forecasting agency issued a hazardous weather outlook Friday for portions of southeast Michigan, including Wayne County, that called for winds gusting up to 45 miles per hour through Friday evening.

"A low pressure system tracking through the Ohio Valley could bring accumulating snow to the region Monday night and Tuesday," according to the advisory. "At this time, the best chance for accumulating snow will be south of M-59."

The NWS forecast calls for partly cloudy skies, a chance of flurries and a high of 36 degrees, with winds gusting to 22 mph Saturday and, on Sunday, partly sunny skies, a high of 39 degrees and winds gusting to 20 mph.

Snow showers are expected during the evening Monday, when the forecasting agency predicts a partly sunny skies during the day with a high of 40 degrees. The white stuff could continue to fall Tuesday, which will be mostly cloudy with a high of 38 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
