Trenton Schools Officials to Discuss Budget at Workshop Monday

District officials are meeting at 5:30 p.m. April 29 to discuss the 2013-14 preliminary general fund budget.

The proposed Trenton Public Schools budget for the 2013-14 school year shows a reduction in the fund balance.

To balance the budget, officials recommended taking about $1.4 million out of the fund balance.

Officials also are expected to discuss additional renovations and repairs that can be funded with remaining funds from the bond issue of 2008.
