Two people were hurt in a three-car Troy crash involving a suspected drunken driver last week, according to police.
TROY, MI β Two people were hurt in a three-car Troy crash involving a suspected drunken driver last week, according to police.
The crash happened in the area of John R and Big Beaver roads at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, according to police.
Police did not release many details about the crash, but officers did speak with two of the drivers who told officers they suffered minor injuries, according to police.

Officers then spoke to the third driver, a 62-year-old man from Sterling Heights, and noticed that he slurred his speech and smelled like alcohol, according to police.
After failing several field sobriety tests, the Sterling Heights man blew a .22 percent BAC on a preliminary breath test, nearly three times the legal limit, according to police.

The Sterling Heights man was arrested in connection with the crash and placed in the Troy Jail, where further breath tests had results of .26 percent and .27 percent, according to police.
The man was charged with operating with a BAC of .17 percent or more and failing to stop in assured clear distance, according to police.
Police did not identify the Sterling Heights man.
