  1. Enjoy a free evening of family fun at Boulan Park (3693 Crooks Road, Troy)Β on Tuesday from 6 to 10 p.m.Β The George Brothers Band performs at 6:30 p.m., and the kids filmΒ "Madagascar 3" will be shown under the stars.Β 
  2. Trying to go green? Workfly.com hosts a special event at the Sandy Building (1500 West Big Beaver Road, Troy)Β on Wednesday at 11 a.m. withΒ speakers that will discuss energy needs, ways to save money on your energy, alternative ways to do regular things can make huge changes to our environment and for the future.
  3. On LETT-Uce Provide You Lunch days at Troy Historic Village (60 West Wattles Road, Troy) on Thursday at 10 a.m., you can pick a plate full of fresh greens and clean them at the outdoor washing station. Add veggies, protein, and dressing from home, then enjoy a healthy picnic lunch in the Village.
  4. Want to golf for a great cause?Β The Troy Police charity golf outing at Devil's Ridge Golf Club (3700 Metamora Road, Oxford) is scheduled to kick off on Monday at 9 a.m.Β  This event benefits both the Boys & Girls Club of Troy and Troy Youth Assistance, two organizations committed to providing services to youth and families of Troy and the surrounding communities.
  5. For kids ages 6-7 to others ages 8-10, the Troy Nature Society hosts its programs, Stirring Up Science,Β from Aug. 19-23. Click the link for information about the two different classes, as well as costs.
