5 Things You Should Know This Week in Troy
A city council meeting, non-profit fundraiser, and gym closure are on deck this week.

1. The Troy City Council meets on Monday Β at 7:30 p.m. Check troymi.gov for a full agenda packet.
2.Β McDonald's (4819 Rochester Rd., Troy)Β will donate 15 percent of all proceeds (dine-in, drive-thru or carry-out) to Troy People Concerned on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Troy People Concerned (TPC) is a non-profit service organization supporting Troy families in times of need with assistance, information and referrals.
3.Β Beginning and experienced speakers are welcome at the Toastmasters club meeting on Monday at 8 a.m.Β Toastmasters at Walsh College (3838 Livernois Rd., Troy) meets on the second and fourth Mondays each month excluding holidays and dates the campus is closed.Β Β
4.Β Sip a cup of tea while enjoying a slice of history at theΒ Troy Historic Village (60 W. Wattles Rd., Troy) on Thursday at 2 p.m.Β Guests are welcome to bring their own teacup or use our disposable products.Β Tickets are $7 each and can be purchased over the phone or at the Village. Advance registration is required as space is limited.
5. The Troy Community Center gym will be closed for maintenance on Tuesday.Β
