“No one understood Sparky better than Dan Ewald," said Peter Gammons of the MLB Network. "Managing people in a scope far broader than a pennant race is a rare quality, and Sparky understood people, their insecurities, their motivations. This is a great read, a great understanding of the humanity of playing baseball.”
On June 26, Ewald will provide an introduction and overview of his book, Sparky and Me, as well as conduct a question and answer session and sign any books that people bring with them to the event.
