Troy High School Theatre Ensemble Presents "NIGHT OF JANUARY 16TH"

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 7, 7 p.m.
  • Where: Troy High School (4777 Northfield Pkwy.)
  • What: Troy High School's award-winning Theatre Ensemble presents Ayn Rand's classic courtroom drama, "Night of January 16th." A successful tycoon is dead and his trial reveals many mysterious goings-on in his life. Was it his widow, his mistress, or his father-in-law? This Broadway stage hit has a clever gimmick; wherein members of the audience sit in the jury box on stage while the trial is conducted. The outcome of the play is totally in the hands of the jury. Ayn Rand penned two different endings, depending on how the jury decides. Shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Nov. 7-9 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students (under 18) and $8 for seniors (60 and over).  Reserved tickets are available online at seatyourself.biz/troytheatreensemble. General admission tickets are also available at the box office on show nights.
