1000 block of Wattles, Aug. 14-15, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Resident reported someone opened four cell phone accounts in her name without her permission.
Drugs/narcoticsΒ
John R Road and East Big Beaver Road, Aug. 19, 3:12 p.m.: Troy Officers stopped a vehicle for an unreadable paper license plate. Officers observed the vehicle in Raintree Park prior to the stop. The driver stated he left the park because it was too busy. Officers observed the park was almost empty, suspecting their maybe drugs involved Officers asked the driver if anything illegal was in the car. The driver admitted he had marijuana in a duffle bag. The driver, a 44-year-old from Lake Orion was issued a citation for possession of marijuana.
John R Road and West Fourteen Mile Road, Aug. 20, 11:54 p.m.: Troy Officers stopped a vehicle because the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. Officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver denied having any marijuana however the Officer observed the driver to be eating the marijuana. The driver, a 19-year-old from Sterling Heights has his medical marijuana card however when transporting marijuana it is supposed to be in the trunk. The driver was issued a citation for improper transporting of medical marijuana.

2000 block of Charter, Aug. 19, 5 p.m.: Complainant advised he put his bike in front of the residence and returned a little while later and discovered his bike missing. The bike was valued at $100.
2000 block of Dorchester, Aug. 19, 9:30 p.m.: Resident reported his storage locker was broken into in the basement of the apartment building. Resident advised his bike and four pairs of shoes were missing. The bike was valued at $300 and the four pairs of shoes were valued at $2,250.

4000 block of Holland, Aug. 20, 12:54 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a larceny complaint, Resident advised she heard a dragging sound coming from her driveway. Complainant stated she had supplies delivered to her home to have her roof redone. Complainant discovered three boxes of roof vents missing.
3000 block of John R Road, Aug. 17-19, 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Complainant reported his landscape trailer and pickup were parked in his driveway. When he returned he discovered his trailer had been broken into and a trimmer, edger and three backpack blowers were missing.
Larcenies from autos
3000 block of West Big Beaver, Aug. 16, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Complainant parked his vehicle in the lot when he returned he found his catalytic converter had been stolen.
4000 block of Navin Field, Aug. 20, 12 midnight to 7:30 a.m.: Resident reported his vehicle was parked unlocked in front of his home, when he returned to his vehicle he discovered his iPad and briefcase missing.Β

2000 block of Ranieri, Aug. 19-20, 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 a.m.: Resident reported someone smashed the driverβs side rear window to his Town & County while parked in the driveway.Β
