Marine Friends Against Cancer Fundraiser for Drew Pointe

Marine Friends Against Cancer is hosting a “Pasta Dinner Night” fundraising event for 16-year-old cancer patient Drew Pointe at the San Marino Club in Troy. DJ “Mike” will be providing music and there will be a silent auction arranged by “The Goalies Den" as well as a 50/50 raffle and more.

Pointe is a Romeo High School Student recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called Burkitt’s Lymphoma. Drew is an avid Lacrosse player who enjoys the outdoors including football, camping, hiking and other typical high school social events. After winning his war with cancer, he plans to pursue medical school and college Lacrosse.

Drew is the son of Richard Pointe, a Chief Warrant Officer in the Marine Corps Reserve who presently serves with MWSS- 471 Det. "B," at Selfridge ANGB in Mt. Clemens, MI.
