Ford Taurus Stolen At Troy Business
A 2003 Ford Taurus was stolen from the parking lot of the United Shore Building on Maple Road Tuesday.

TROY, MI β The Troy Police Department was busy Tuesday and Wednesday. Officers handled 241 calls for service, including six warrant arrests, three arrests for retail fraud and two driving under the influence. Hereβs a rundown of police reports for the period from the Troy Police Department:
Unlawful Driving Away of an Automobile
United Shore Building, 1414 E. Maple Road, 6/27/2017, 8:30 AM β 3:00 PM: Victim discovered unknown suspect(s) stole her red 2003 Ford Taurus while it was parked in the parking lot.

850 Stephenson Highway, 6/28/2017, 9:00 AM β 6:00 PM: Victim discovered unknown suspect(s) stole his green 2003 Ford Pick-up Truck while it was parked in the parking lot. Inside the victimβs vehicle was his Beats Headphones, running shoes, miscellaneous clothing, and sports equipment.

Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated
4000 block of Valley Vista Lane, 6/27/2017, 11:53 PM: Officers responded to the area on report of a maroon 2012 Porsche 911 driving on the lawns of several residences in the area. The officers located the vehicle driving between two homes on the block and were able to convince the driver to stop the vehicle. The officers assisted the driver putting the vehicle into βParkβ and removed him from inside it. The officers noted an odor of alcohol emanating from him as the 55 year old male from Clarkston spoke. The driver admitted to having consumed a couple of drinks of alcohol while in Birmingham and believed he was south of Royal Oak. The driver was asked to perform several sobriety evaluations to which he did but the officers noted that he performed poorly. He submitted to a Preliminary Breath Test with a result of .195%. He was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Old Creek Road, South of W. Wattles Road, 6/28/2017, 10:29 PM: Officers responded to the area on report of the driver of a blue 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee had been driving erratically, at one point driving onto the lawn of the condominium complex.
The officers located the vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated. The officers spoke with the driver, a 40 year old female from Detroit, and noted an odor of alcohol emanating from her as she spoke. The driverβs stated she did not have a driverβs license and requested to be arrested. It was later discovered that her State of Michigan Operatorβs License was currently βSuspendedβ by the Michigan Secretary of State.
She was asked to perform several sobriety evaluations but refused. She was arrested and while searching her vehicle, officers located an open container of alcohol that had been partially consumed. The officers also located a cigarette pack that contained a crack pipe and a piece of paper that contained suspected methamphetamine.
She was transported to the Troy Police Lock-up Facility where she was read her Chemical Test Rights but refused to submit to a Breath Test. A search warrant for a Blood Test was drafted and signed by a local Magistrate. The search warrant was executed and the driverβs blood was drawn by medical personnel. She was charged with Driving While License Suspended β 2nd or Subsequent Offense, Transporting an Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle,, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol β 3rd Offense pending laboratory results.
Assault and Battery
Southbound Stephenson Highway, South of E. Maple Road, 6/27/2017, 5:03 PM: Victim became involved in a traffic altercation with the driver of a red 2009 Saturn Vue. The victim states the suspect was not satisfied the victim was completing his turn fast enough, and became enraged when the victim gave the driver a crying gesture. The driver exited his vehicle, approached the victimβs vehicle, reached inside, and slapped the victim with an open hand. The suspect then spit on the victim, got back into his vehicle, and drive away. The suspect is described as being a white male in his 40βs.
Retail Fraud
Home Depot, 1177 Coolidge Highway, 6/27/2017, 4:42 PM: A 25 year old male from Troy, came to the business and attempted to steal $284.93 worth of merchandise for sale in the store before being stopped by Loss Prevention. He was arrested by the responding officers and charged with Retail Fraud β 2nd Degree.
Larceny From Automobile
Kroger Parking Lot, 31 E. Long Lake Road, 6/24/2017, 7:00 PM β 10:00 PM: Victim discovered unknown suspect(s) entered his 2016 Honda HR-V and stole two travel bags from inside the vehicle that contained miscellaneous clothing and his prescription medication of OxyContin and Oxycodone. Victim is unsure if he locked his vehicle while he was inside the business.
300 block of Lyons Street, 6/27/2016 β 6/28/2017, 7:00 PM β 7:00 AM: Victim reports unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked black 2017 Ford Fusion and stolen his prescription medication of Flexerol, his computer cords, and cell phone charging cords.
Larceny in a Building
Fiot Detroit LLP, 2836 Industrial Row, 6/23/2017 β 6/26/2017, 3:30 PM β 3:30 PM: Employee reports discovering $2,527 missing from the business safe in his office. Employee is unable to provide any suspect(s) as there were no signs of forced entry into the building, his office, nor the safe.
LA Fitness, 710 E. Big Beaver Road, 6/27/2017, 11:00 AM β 12:30 PM: Victim discovered unknown suspect(s) gain access to his locked locker and removed two credit cards from his wallet. The credit cards were used to complete fraudulent purchases at the Best Buy Store in Rochester Hills for $2,900 and the Nordstrom Store in Clinton Township for more than $1,000.
2000 block of S. Lovington Drive, 6/23/2017 β 6/28/2017, 12:00 Noon β 9:00 AM: Victims discovered while on vacation, unknown suspect(s) entered their locked apartment and stole jewelry from a closet and United States and Indian currency from other luggage. The apartment was found to still be locked when they returned home.
