Veterans Free Lunch

When: Monday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Granite City Food & Brewery (699 W. Big Beaver Rd., Troy)
What: Attention all veterans and active military—Granite City wants to thank you with a free lunch off of its special Veterans Day menu. Please bring proof of military service. No coupons or other discounts are valid with your order. Gratuity is not included. Dine-in only.

Troy Garden Club Presents "The ABC's of Holiday Arrangements"

  • When: Wednesday, Nov. 13, 11:45 a.m.
  • Where: Big Beaver United Methodist Church (3753 John R Rd., Troy)
  • What: Do you need to brush up on your ABC's - the ABC's of creating holiday arrangements using flowers and other plant material, that is?  If so, Claire Schmidt, senior floral designer at Michael's, can help. The Troy Garden Club's Wednesday meeting is open to guests. The $7 fee includes both a light lunch at 12 noon and Ms. Schmidt's one hour presentation beginning at 1 p.m. Reservations, please:  248-642-7277.
