Fake Fedex Driver Tries To Steal iPhone Packages From Oakland County Home: Police
The incident is the latest theft in a string of stolen iPhone packages in the metro Detroit area, according to police.

TROY, MI — A New York man was arrested in Troy last week after trying to steal an iPhone package while posing as a delivery driver, according to police.
Jose Junior Rosario, 34, was charged with five counts of larceny from mail and driving with a suspended license. He was placed in jail with a bond set at $150,000.
Rosario drove to a Troy home on Oct. 24 and waited in the area for several hours while wearing a FedEx jacket and hat, according to police.

Eventually, Rosario approached a home where an iPhone package was dropped off, but found the homeowner had already picked up the box, according to police.
However, the homeowner left a Mac Pro laptop to be returned on the porch, so Rosario took the laptop and drove away, according to police.

Officers stopped Rosario and found 16 new iPhones and a brand-new iPad still in their boxes in the trunk of his car, according to police.
The incident is the latest theft in a string of stolen iPhone packages that may be caused by an information leak in the metro Detroit area, according to police.
Last week, a man was arrested after stealing iPhone packages from Troy and other metro Detroit area homes while posing as an Amazon delivery driver, according to police.
West Bloomfield officers stopped a suspected car that was involved in multiple iPhone package thefts on Oct. 22 and found five iPhones inside the car, according to police.
Four people inside the car were arrested in connection with the incident, according to police.
Another person was arrested on Oct. 21 in connection with stolen packages from Utica, Southfield and Sterling Heights, according to police.
The packages consisted of three tablets and a sim card, according to police.
Police said they saw the suspect steal a package at a Sterling Heights home, leading to their arrest.
Troy police did not release any information about any of the suspects in either of those cases.
