MET Hotel Hires New Executive Chef, Unveils New Menu

New breakfast and lunch menu options created by new Executive Chef Marc Zalewski will be available starting May 21.

The recently added new Executive Chef Chef Marc Zalewski to its team.

Zalewski will be taking over the Banquets & Catering Department as well as reopening the hotel's restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Zalewski trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park and specializes in cross cultural fusion.

As executive chef, Zalewski has designed a new lunch menu targeted at business men and women in the area who are looking for quick and affordable lunch options (see attached menu) that are high in quality and taste, said MET Hotel Corporate Catering Sales Manager Colleen Berendt.

Lunch options include a gourmet soup and salad bar for $4.95 and a variety of made-to-order sandwiches for $5.95.

All of the new lunch options are under $6 and offered from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
