Metro Detroit Area Gas Prices Are Up In The Last Week: AAA

TROY, MI — Gas prices in the Metro Detroit area have climbed in the last week, according to the latest figures from AAA.

AAA reports that the average cost of a gallon of self-serve, regular, unleaded gas is $2.09 in the Metro Detroit area. That's a two cent per gallon price jump in one week.

However, while it's getting more expensive to gas up in Metro Detroit, it's getting cheaper in the rest of Michigan. The statewide average cost of a gallon of self-serve, regular, unleaded gas is $2.08. That's roughly three cents less than last week's average.
