Metro Detroit Weather Forecast Features Sun, Rain
The coming work week will see some sun, but also a chance for rain especially on Thursday.
METRO DETROIT, MI β If you have plans on Sunday, you might want to make sure theyβre before 4 p.m. According to the National Weather Service, scattered showers will hit metropolitan Detroit after 4 p.m. and rain could continue all evening. Itβs going to be cool, too, with the high topping out at 72 degrees.
Itβs going to stay relatively cool for the coming work week as well. Highs will stay in the 70s until Thursday when the National Weather Service calls for an 83 degree day. Hereβs a closer look at the metro Detroit weather forecast for the work week of June 26-30:
Monday: A chance of showers after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 70. West wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Monday Night: A chance of showers before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. West wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. West northwest wind around 8 mph. Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.
