Metro Detroit Weather: Warm and Sunny Early in the Week, Rain Later

Monday should be the warmest day of the week with rain moving into the forecast later in the week.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Metro Detroit residents, will start the week with mostly sunny, warm weather with a high around 80, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain will be moving into the area on Wednesday night with cooler autumn temperatures ending the week.

Monday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 81. South southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 78. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Wednesday night: A chance of showers after 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. Thursday night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45.

Friday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 56. Friday night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Saturday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 57. Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.
