The Troy Board of Education this week approved the appointment of Ms. Joyce Brasington as Principal of Wattles Elementary School.
Ms. Brasington comes to Troy from the Oxford Community School District where she has held the position of Principal at Daniel Axford Elementary School for four years. Before that, she was the Principal at Leonard Elementary School in Oxford for four years, Assistant Principal for Oxford Middle School for five years and a middle school / high school teacher and counselor for five years.
Ms. Brasington received a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education in 1987, a Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling in 1991, and an Education Specialist degree in Administration in 1997.
