Looking for some virtual fun for the entire pet-owning family? Check out the third annual Paws for Life Draws for Life fundraiser
It's been a rough two years for non-profits. Raising funds has never been easy, but the COVID-19 pandemic only made the struggle more difficult. Times have been more stressful for everyone, which is why Paws for Life loves the annual Draws for Life fundraiser so much - it makes everyone smile!
When the world shut down in March 2020, Paws for Life got creative and fast. All of the upcoming adoption events and fundraisers had to be cancelled. Usual donors had to tighten their purse strings as we all headed into the unknown. That's when Paws for Life launched the very first Paws for Life Draws for Life virtual event.
Every participant donates $10 and submits a photo of their pet. Volunteer "artists" then recreate that photo via the medium of their choice. The completed masterpiece is then posted back online for everyone to enjoy. Here's the catch, some of these "artists" can barely hold a pencil correctly.

Therein lies part of the fun. Will you get a professional artist who makes a living with their skills and talent? Or will your photo be assigned to an ameteur artist who is still trying to grasp how to draw a stick figure? Either way, Paws for Life promises a lot of fun, smiles and laughs ... all at our pets' expense.
