Pet of the Week: Charlie Needs a Home

Charlie is available for adoption through Paws for Life Rescue in Troy.

Meet Charlie. He's a collie mix who was born Oct. 27, 2000. He weighs 56 pounds and is neutered, vaccinated, house trained, in very good health and very smart.

Charlie is a friendly, energetic dog who likes quiet, laid back households. Small children are too much for Charlie, which is why his family wants to find him a new home (hey had young children who wanted to climb all over Charlie, and he's just not up for it).

The family considered euthanizing Charlie due to his age, but stepped in and said no, he's in great health and has lots of love to give, so he should enjoy life. Charlie should spend his golden years with people who appreciate that and will love him for it.
