Popular Sandwich Shop Opening New Location In Troy's Somerset Mall

TROY, MI — A popular neighborhood sandwich shop announced Thursday it's opening a new shop inside the Somerset Collection in Troy.

Potbelly, known for their toasty sandwiches, salads, milkshakes and cookies, is opening a new shop next Tuesday inside the Somerset Collection. The new shop will open in the Peacock Cafes on the mall's third floor.

The new shop joins more than 20 other Potbelly's in the metro Detroit area.

"Somerset Collection draws in big crowds, and many are looking for a craveable meal while out shopping. Our sandwiches, salads, shakes and cookies provide shoppers with the convenient option they are looking for," Somerset Collection General Manager Alex Howe said. "With a lively mall in a vibrant community, we’re truly in a great location for Potbelly to thrive."

The new shop will host a ribbon cutting with Mayor Ethan Baker next Tuesday at 11 a.m. along with free cookies coupons that will be passed out to customers throughout the week.

The new shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
