For nearly 30 years Ken Krause and Sam Berk have been watching over family pets.

They own and operate Premier Pet Sitters in Troy.

What does your business offer? 

We go to the home or business if needed and the pets stay in their own home we come there as many times as needed. We offer vacations, holidays daily service while people work. Day housesitting live-in service errands and emergencies always take if can meet them in time.

What's your most popular product or service? 

Wow, they are all popular but vacations holidays Christmas and Thanksgiving and daily dog walks.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?

They think we are a kennel a vet office or a boarding faculty or get calls looking for premier pet supply bev hills so guess the main fact we come to the home do the service walk, feed, medicine, newspaper, mail etc whatever customers need we do dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs etc snakes even some exotics like pot belly pigs.

Started in april 1983

How did your business come to be? 

We are all animal lovers and wanted a fun unique business no one else was doing and saw a need even than for pet sitting pets to stay in own home no kennel stress have a few customers who took their dog cat to boarding and came back dog gone.

Why did you choose the area you did?

Love pets always had dogs cats and when we went on vacation needed someone to watch our dogs cats and would ask a neighbor or friend Troy is where we live but cover 35 miles.
