See Reported Oakland County Coronavirus Cases For Last 10 Days

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — In recent weeks, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has said residents can be "cautiously optimistic" when looking at the number of new coronavirus cases, as the numbers have seemingly plateaued.

However, overall, the number of coroanvirus cases can seem overwhelming. In Oakland County, 7,838 cases of the coronavirus have been reported as of Wednesday evening, according to the county's health department. Of those, 868 people have died. The county has reported that 5,427 people have recovered from the virus.

Below is a breakdown of how many cases have been reported in Oakland County each day for the past 10 days.

More than 900 new coronavirus cases were reported in the county during that time; 70 deaths were reported during that time.

On average, 90.2 new cases of the coronavirus were reported daily in Oakland County from May 4-13. An average of seven people died per day from the virus, according to the county's health data.

April 4-13

Overall, 2,143 new coronavirus cases were reported between April 4-13. During the same time frame, 253 people died in the county from the virus.

On average, the county saw 214.3 new coronavirus cases reported each day between April 4-13. The county also saw more than 25 people die each day from the virus during that time frame, on average.
