Senior Brigade

At 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2013, Troy area Oakland County Commissioners Mike Bosnic & Gary McGillivray will host the Michigan Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division’s Senior Brigade for a one hour presentation on Home Repair and Equity Scams as well as Reverse Mortgages.  The program is free of charge to the public and will be held at the Troy Public Library, Main Meeting Room, located at 510 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, Michigan. 

The Senior Brigade is a Michigan seniors initiative designed to educate seniors and their families on the scams & frauds that often are directed at seniors. Home Repair and Equity Scams reviews how to recognize potential repair scams, how to work with a contractor, how to understand reverse mortgages, and tips to recognize and avoid foreclosure scams.
