Smith Middle School Students Give Back to Help Their Environment

Seventh- and eighth-graders at Smith Middle School in Troy worked through a drizzle this past Saturday morning to spread mulch at the trail of Sylvan Glen Park, showing how teamwork, enthusiasm and a passion for the healthy environment gets the job done.

The participants were Emma Bossenberger, Olivia Eigmey, Raul Dutta, Patrick Larimer, Delbert Li, Kaumudi Mahajan, Garrett
Mastrovito, Jason Park, Megan Parker, Brittany Rose, Adithya Sanjay, Anisha Shukla, Daanyal Syed, Jason Trumbauer, Madeline Trumbauer, Fiona Warner, Eashan Yedulla and May Zitzelberger.
