Spill Your Secrets, Troy: What Makes Us So Awesome?

Share a unique or interesting fact or photo about a Troy business and you could end up in the Troy Chamber's annual publication.

Did you know Troy-based Behr has a climatic wind tunnel? And that the on Big Beaver is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) registered building?

Troy is full of little-known and interesting facts about its many businesses, and the is asking Troy Patch readers for help uncovering those secrets for its annual "Troy Portfolio" membership directory.

"I have all sorts of historical and demographic info," said Deb DePue, director of Marketing and Communications for the Troy Chamber of Commerce, "but I am looking for the interesting, truly unique features that set us apart from our neighboring communities."

Whether it's a neat recycling project at your Troy office, a restaurant that is featuring local artists' paintings, or perhaps a business that has been owned by the same family for generations, we want to know about the little things that set the Troy business community apart from our neighbors.

And if the Troy Chamber uses your comment or photo, your name will appear in their annual publication, the Troy Portfolio, which is printed every January and distributed to all members of the Chamber.
