Stuff the Truck: Whole Foods & Forgotten Harvest

Stuff the Truck: Whole Foods & Forgotten Harvest
- When:Â Saturday, Nov. 16, 9 a.m.
- Where:Â Whole Foods Market (2880 W. Maple Rd., Troy)
- What: Forgotten Harvest is teaming up with Whole Foods Market for the Stuff the Truck event at three Detroit Whole Foods Market locations (Troy, Rochester Hills and West Bloomfield). Volunteers will be present from 9am-3pm to collect food for those in need. All food collected from the event will be distributed to Forgotten Harvest's network of over 280 agencies in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
Whole Foods shoppers can pick up a Stuff the Truck shopping list on their way into any of the three stores, purchase any of the lists's items while shopping and donate it to Forgotten Harvest on their way out. Whole Foods Market will also be hosting a Taste of the Season event where 12-3 where customers can sample delicious holiday items from their holiday menu while shopping.
Participating shoppers at all three Whole Foods Market locations who contribute to Stuff the Truck will receive a free Whole Foods Market tote bag.Â

- Where:Â Kilgour Scottish Center (2360 Rochester Ct., Troy)
- What: Shepherd's Pie dinner
$10 adult $6 kids (10yrs and under)

Annual Craft Show
- When: Friday, Nov. 15, 9 a.m.
- Where:Â Zion Christian Church (3668 Livernois Rd., Troy)
- What:Â Compliment your holiday shopping with unique handmade items. There will be more than 50 vendors on hand. Admission is $2. In conjunction with the craft show, the Friends of Troy Seniors will be offering a gently used purse, tote, wallet and scarf sale from 9 am - 1 pm. The $2 admission admits you to both sales. Find hundreds of purses and more at bargain prices. There are still a few openings for vendors age 50+ to register for a table for the craft show. The fee is $15 for a 6 ft. table (NR $20). Register for Act. 148925J. In addition, gently used purses can be donated at the Community Center front desk through November 13.
