Teen Halloween at the Troy Public Library and More This Weekend

Teen Halloween at the Troy Public Library

  • When: Friday, Oct. 25, 6 p.m.
  • Where: Troy Public Library (510 W. Big Beaver Rd., Troy)
  • What: Teens are invited to visit the Troy Public Library as the stacks are taken over by the ghoulish, the spooky, and the truly terrifying in the Library's first haunted house. If the undead aren't your thing, stop by to join in a video game tournament or participate in some fun autumnal games and activities! Costumes are optional, but keep in mind that the winner of the Costume Contest will take home an awesome prize. Food is provided to all participants. Registration is required, and the event is open to teens ages 13-18 only. 

5th Quarter Party

  • When: Friday, Oct. 25, 9 p.m.
  • Where: Zion Christian Church (3668 Livernois Rd., Troy)
  • What: The Encounter Youth team at Zion Christian Church is hosting a party for the students of Troy Athens right after the fourth quarter of the football game on Friday. Join them for games, free food, prizes and more. All current Troy Athens students are welcome. The party ends at 12 a.m. For more info call Kristen Lomasney at 248-524-2400.

Boy Scout Open House

  • When: Friday, Oct. 25, 7 p.m.
  • Where: Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois Rd., Troy)
  • What: Interested in learning more about Troop 1707? Maybe you should be—after all, they do participate in camping, swimming, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, rock climbing, rafting, backpacking, archery, cycling, snowboarding, sailing, motorboating, and many more adventures. Now is the time get your questions answered.
