1. Troy Athens Bands Tim Horton's Days

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 20, 12 noon to 2 p.m.
  • Where: Tim Horton's in Troy (3331 Rochester Rd., 3980 Crooks Rd., 
    507 E. Big Beaver Rd.)
  • What: The Troy Athens Marching Band is heading to the BOA Grand Nationals in Indianapolis this November. You can help the band get to Indy simply by getting some coffee, doughnuts, or a meal at this designated time. Anyone who donates will also get a Tim Horton's coupon.

2. ARC of Hope 2013 Spectrum Conference- Solutions for Complex Kids

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 19, 8:30 a.m.
  • Where: Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois Rd.)
  • What: The conference is for families whose children are struggling with RAD, autism spectrum disorder, AD/HD, PANDAS, anxiety or depression, learning disabilities and more - those high and low functioning disabilities that often leave parents in the dark in terms of what to do next. 3. Church Wide - Rummage Sale to Benefit Missions

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 19, 8 a.m.
  • Where: First United Methodist Church of Troy (6363 Livernois Rd., Troy)
  • What: Overflowing the gym and spilling out into other rooms of the church, this rummage sale offers clothing, shoes, purses, wall art, lamps, dishes, all kinds of kitchen items, linens, books, holiday decorations, tools, toys, sports equipment, and much more. All morning items are priced as marked.
