Troy Chamber: Come Travel to Asia with Us
The Troy Chamber of Commerce is hosting guided group trips to China or Hong Kong and Thailand this fall.

Have you always wanted to travel to an unusual destination, but you've been afraid to because you didnβt speak the language? Fear no more! The invites you to travel to China from Oct. 13-21 or to Hong Kong and Thailand from Nov. 5-13 as part of a Chamber travel group, complete with English-speaking tour guides.
"The thought of planning a trip to a fascinating location like Asia may seem overwhelming for a number of reasonsβyou donβt speak the language, you donβt know what youβll eat, youβre nervous about the accommodations,β Troy Chamber President Michele Hodges said. βBy traveling with the Chamber, you can set those fears aside. The only thing youβll need to worry about is if you have a good camera to take with you.β

For as little as $2,150 per person for China and $2,699 for Hong Kong/Thailand, travelers can enjoy 4- and 5-star hotels, airfare, meals, a variety of attractions and more.
Whether you want to travel as a family, couple, or individual, Chamber trips include memorable sites, both ancient and modern, and the opportunity to enjoy a multitude ofΒ unforgettable cultural experiences.

"In October 2011, our group of 58 travelers enjoyed the unforgettable experience of seeing China," Hodges said. "For 2012, weβre offering this trip again, with a possible side excursion to Xiβan to see the Terracotta Warriors. In addition, weβre adding a new trip to Hong Kong/Thailand in November."
To find out more, attend the final from noon-1 p.m. this Wednesday at the Troy Chamber office (4555 Investment Dr., Ste. 300, in the Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union building). Anyone who attends this session will qualify for early bird pricing by registering for one of the trips and making a deposit by May 25.
