- Eat at Big Boy on 30460 John R Rd. in Madison Heights on Tuesday, Oct. 22 between 5-8 p.m. and 20 percent of all food purchases will go towards the Troy Community Chorus (print the attached PDF). In addition to donations, there will be raffle prizes throughout the night.
- Heart of the Hills Players presents "A Fractured Tale" this week. Performances will be held at the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois Rd. on Oct. 23-24 at 2 p.m., and Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $14 in advance, $16 at the door or $10 for groups of 20 or more in advance. - Eat at the Somerset Collection California Pizza Kitchen at 2800 W. Big Beaver Rd. in Troy on Thursday, Oct. 24 at any time and 20 percent of all food purchases will go towards Troy Fire Station 6 charities. (print the attached image). There will be firemen there to serve food and clear tables.
- Qdoba Mexican Grill is hiring line servers, cooks and team leaders at 3059 Rochester Rd. in Troy on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Be prepared to fill out an application or bring your resume and references.
- Troy City Council candidate Ellen Hodorek meets voters on Tuesday from 6-8Â p.m. at CJ Mahoney's at 2511 Livernois Rd. Free appetizers and a cash bar are available; campaign contributions will be accepted.
