Troy Family Aquatic Center to Celebrate Friday Opening with Free Admission

The center will also host an open house this Saturday.

The following information was provided by the City of Troy.

The award-winning (TFAC) will open for its 21st season this Friday with a free admission day special from noon-7:30 p.m. and remain open through Labor Day. The Aquatic Center features a main pool with a zero-depth edge, tube and body slides, a kiddie area that includes a waterfall, slide and spray area, sand volleyball, sand play area and concession area.

β€œJoin us at our Open House on Saturday, May 26 from 10-10:45 a.m.," Aquatics Coordinator Brian Goul said. "This is a perfect opportunity to see what the Troy Family Aquatic Center is all about. Staff will give tours and answer questions about the facility."

Family Aquatic Center Hours:

  • Early Season (May 26 - June 13): 3-7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  • Special Hours, Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day): 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
  • Regular Season (June 14 - Sept. 3): 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in June and August; 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday in July; 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Season Passes for the 2012 season are on sale now at the and at TFAC when the season begins.Β  A season pass or punch card does not guarantee admission if the facility reaches capacity. Children under 3 years old as of May 1, 2012 are free.Β

Season pass holders who purchase a pass on or before Thursday, May 24 will receive two free daily guest passes (limit two per household). Two free daily guest passes will be given if pass is purchased on Opening Free Admission Day.
