Troy Police Arrest 2 Drunk Drivers In McDonald's Drive-Thru

TROY, MI — Two drivers were arrested from the McDonald's drive-thru in Troy recently. Their alleged crime? Drunk driving. How they were caught by police? They both passed out in line, at the same time, according to police.

It was about 3 a.m. when authorities found two cars stalling thee lines.

WDIV reported that police said it took several attempts to wake the drivers, who admitted to drinking to police.

The drivers of both vehicles did not know each other and had independently fallen asleep at the same McDonald’s.

Police said both drivers had BAC levels over the legal limit. See dash cam footage from that night here.
