Troy Ranks 12th for Michigan Job-Seekers

Job-seekers in Troy have apparently come to the right place, according to a report on NerdWallet.com. 

The consumer advocacy site ranked Troy 12th in Michigan as a destination for job-seekers. 

The report cited the city's $85,946 median household income and 0.3 percent working age population change from 2009-2011 as factors in its high ranking. 

According to the report, NerdWallet asked the following questions:

1. Is the city growing?
2. Can you afford to live in the city comfortably? 
3. Are most people employed?
